Chef Eva Chin was born and raised on her grandmother’s farm in Kahuku, Hawaii. Equipped with Hawaiian, Chinese, and Singaporean heritage, food knowledge, and the nature surrounding her, Eva’s career as a chef was no surprise. She has cooked around the world, and comes to us from her recent stint as Chef de Cuisine at Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar in Vancouver. She attributes her culinary success and cooking style to her mentor, Shane Osborn. At Kōjin, she brings us the Hawaiin concept of Aloha ʻĀina—love of the land.
