Lounging on Kōjin’s rooftop patio has never been better with our table side charcoal bbq.
The offering consists of 3 lbs of Van Osch farms Coulotte of beef, house made pickles using fresh vegetables from Second Season Farm and Foragers Farm, momofuku kimchi, korean bbq sauce, extremely spicy sauce and a bounty bowl of fresh lettuce, watermelon radish and fresh herbs. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the offering Ssam style, making lettuce wraps with all the ingredients.
Available for pre-order and a la carte, only 3 portions per night are available during patio season. Patio seating subject to weather and availability.
CAVIAR AND FRIED CHICKEN | Serves 4 – 6 guests | $650
Inspired by cold fried chicken with caviar from Wylie Dufresne’s WD~50 and traditional Peking duck service, two chickens are fried whole, carved, and then paired Chef’s selection of caviar and fish roe. Chive crepes, white miso cured cream cheese, cucumbers, and scallions round out the meal. There’s no right or wrong way to eat the Fried Chicken & Caviar Meal, but we suggest to start by making wraps by topping the chive crepes with chicken, caviar, and sauce.
Caviar and fish roe currently on offer:
4 oz of Ikura – wild caught chum salmon roe from the west coast
4 oz of Acadian Sturgeon Caviar – from wild Atlantic sturgeon commercially harvested in a small, 100 year old, sustainable fishery on Saint John River, New Brunswick
500 gram and 1000 gram tins of caviar are available upon request.
