Celebrate Momofuku’s first-ever Chinese New Year to-go feast, featuring dishes from Chef Eva Chin of Kōjin and Chef Anna Chen of Alma. The collaboration stemmed from an idea to give the new generation of Chinese Canadians memories of home over the course of two weeks. The feast comes with 8 dishes symbolizing happiness and prosperity including steamed buns, broth, wontons, roast duck, fried whole fish, and sweets.

THE FEAST

Steamed Bao*  蒸蒸日上
sourdough bun filled with salted duck egg custard and 2 year-aged mandarin peel 

Lo Hei Prosperity Salad*  撈起
a celebration of winter vegetables and fresh pomelo with sweet and sour preserved plum dressing

Wonton Soup  雲吞。上湯
shrimp & pork wontons by Alma, pea tips & pork wontons by Kōjin, served with a superior stock-style bone broth

Fried Whole BC Rockfish  年年有魚
dredged and fried twice and glazed in a black olive braising sauce and fresh herbs

Eight Treasure Stuffed Roast Duck  八寶鴨
roast duck breast stuffed with shiitake mushrooms, chestnuts, goji berries, and dried scallops, glazed in Shaoxing wine 

Yuba’s Delight*  羅漢齋
braised beancurd, winter mushrooms, and taro root in mushroom soy

Nian Gao  年糕
coconut sticky rice cake, steamed with palm sugar and pandan

Black Sesame Shortbread (8pc)  開口笑
black and white sesame-crusted deep-fried butter cookies

Pre-orders begin January 21st for pick up on February 10-13 & February 17-20 from 5 to 9 pm. Place an order on Resy, Ambassador, by email at toreservation@momofuku.com or phone at 647.253.8000. A credit card is required to secure your reservation. Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance of your scheduled pick-up time will be fully refunded. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are not eligible for a full or partial refund.
